Both David and Jo have a lifetime of experience as hotel professionals. David is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde, Scottish Hotel School and Jo was running her parents' small hotel in Cumbria at the age of 19. Their approach is a very effective combination of professionalism with informality and a complete lack of "stuffiness".
